As part of ongoing stakeholder engagement and inter-agency collaboration, the Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Police Force, Borno State Command, ASP Nahum Daso Kenneth, paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Secretary of the Borno State Guidance and Counselling Board, Prof. Mohammed Abba Jimme.
The visit was centered on institutional strengthening, enhanced cooperation, and strategic discussions on improving the participation and successful recruitment of qualified Borno State indigenes into the Nigeria Police Force, as well as promoting peace and stability across the State.
With the ongoing 50,000 Police Constable Recruitment exercise, whose physical screening is scheduled to commence on 9th March, the Executive Secretary assured the delegation that the Board will intensify its efforts to ensure that Borno State secures fair and adequate representation. He emphasized that the Board remains committed to proper sensitization, guidance, and verification of candidates to enhance their success during the screening process.
The Executive Secretary further reiterated that the Board will continue to work closely with the Nigeria Police Force and other relevant stakeholders to guarantee transparency, inclusiveness, and credibility in the recruitment process, while also strengthening youth engagement and promoting sustainable peace in Borno State.
The meeting once again reflects the shared commitment of both institutions toward institutional collaboration, security enhancement, and equitable opportunities for the people of Borno State.
